Written by Even though there’s three months’ time between each Fine Art Sale, the work starts almost as soon as the latest one ends, with valuation days playing a big part of getting in the items for that next sale. Every once in a while you find that little gem, that certain something that gets the blood pumping and sets the auction house alight with excitement – all well before the catalogue is even begun! The Railway memorabilia in our August and February Fine Art sales were exactly that kind of thing, and November is looking good too! Our latest delivery of Railway signal box plates etc has arrived, and we’re all excited to see them, find out what we can about them…..and then wait for November to quickly arrive (it’s just around the corner, after all), so that we can offer them to the train loving public to see what they achieve.
