The popular BBC programme Antiques Road Trip will be making a stop at Anthemion Auctions for our 23rd May Fine Sale. They will be filming the sale of the auction lots bought, at locations across the UK, by their auction experts. Whilst we don’t have those lots yet, here is a taster of some of the other lots to be featured in that sale:

Lot 1 - A pair of Sapphire hoop earrings, with numerous round cut sapphires to a yellow and white metal setting, approximately 30mm x 25mm. Estimates: £400 - 600

A Lady's Domoskenos wristwatch, the oval dial with Arabic numerals, and three subsidiary dials, surrounded by white and black diamonds to a stainless steel and leather strap, overall approximately 40mm x 35mm. Estimates of £200 - 300

A sapphire and diamond ring, the central oval sapphire approximately 11mm x 9mm, with ten baguette cut diamonds (five stepped to each side) ranging from approximately 0.3 to 0.1 of a carat, with twenty two round brilliant cut diamonds (eleven to each side) ranging from approximately 0.2 to 0.05 of a carat to a yellow metal claw setting and shank, ring size approximately K 1/2, (with an East West arts and gems certificate stating 1. Lot 3 - A sapphire pendant, the oval faceted stone measuring approximately 10mm x 8mm to a 9ct yellow gold setting together with a diamond cluster pendant set with round brilliant cut diamonds to a silver setting and necklace. Estimates: £150 - 200

A 1945 Mexican Dos Pesos gold coin set in 9ct yellow gold ring, size W1/2, approximately 7 grams together with a gold plated hunter pocket watch, the enamel dial with Roman numerals and a seconds subsidiary dial inscribed 'Waltham' and an 'amber' bracelet. Estimates of £70 - 100

A diamond ring set with seven marquise shaped diamonds, the central stone with Antwerp World Diamond Centre certificate, (according to the certificate), the central stone weighs 1.55ct, vs1, white, measuring 10.47 x 6.29 x 3.80mm, surrounded by six marquise shaped diamonds measuring approximately 7mm x 4mm, to a white metal claw setting and shank, indistinctly marked, size K, approximately 12.5 grams.
