Our 28th April Fine Art sale saw some frantic action, and lots of funny moments between the auctioneer and the assembled bidders. None more so than the coins section of the sale. With a final count of 149 lots of coins (and a few gold bars) you could be forgiven for thinking it was going to be an awfully boring and long part of the sale (which could have been even longer if the auctioneer had decided not to pair up some of the coins, reducing it down to the 149 lots which came up for auction), but the gold flew and the laughs were in abundance. Altogether the coins had a collective hammer price of over £91,000.00! Great news for our vendors!
